As promised to sze, took some pictures of the interior of my (rented) apartment... (using my mobile so quite blur sorry!)
Didn't take these earlier as I thought we might not secure the unit for another year. Two days back I got a letter from the agent saying the landlord is willing to prolong the contract, with the same terms and conditions (ie rent level remains yay!). Just hope he doesn't kick us out if he managed to find people who are willing to pay more for his property hehe.
Living room - Pardon the mess, haven't really tidied up since coming back. Yeah it's my stack of laundry folded on the sofa. And also my annual 25kg Fedex parcel from home :) Weather was bad yesterday morning hence the dull quality of the pic.
Open plan kitchen - Honestly I find our kitchen one of the cleanest and tidiest after visiting many of my friends' places haha. *bangga*
My room - erm... like this lor, nothing special lol. Friends commented as 'very cosy' :P
My 'study' desk - in fact I was watching Heroes on my laptop then haha.
My toilet - I was trying to hide away from the mirror so had to squat very low to take the pic.
Haha but failed... my toilet is actually reaaaaaally big, can qualify as a student's (budget) room back in uni days lol.
Housemate's room - sneaked into her room to take the pic hehe. She's taking the master bedroom, so it's en-suite but not good to take pics of her toilet/bathroom la...
Bonus pic - Saw this myriad of colours from the living room at sunset yesterday... at 9.30pm!

that's one nice apartment! Imagine apts over in KL hmm.. won't be as nice.. my own apt also dun look that nice :p (but then, with messy ppl like me.. anywhere nice also become not nice la).
thanks a lot jiun, for taking all the trouble!!! when i read your recent "Back" in your yahoo blog, i was excited to finally see a new post after centuries but was a bit disappointed to have not spotted one apartment photo...rather, there's a photo of your homie in kl (the garden is pretty btw ^^). so i thought maybe you didnt read my sms correctly...so i was wrong hehee...
the apartment's interior is as neat as its exterior man!!! so so so contemporary (which i like!). i wish i could own one (renting one also will do lar hehe..) and if i am not mistaken, there's a river below right?
ya your room feels cosy. such thick a comforter, i think i could sleep whole day in it...lol
and i am glad that you have shifted to blogspot coz i'd tried in vain to post comment in your yahoo blog. not so yahoo afterall...
longing for more entries!
jc: I think super duper nice properties are sprouting in Msia now - saw so many property ads when I was back! Esp. kiara area, but of course also selling at crazy prices lol. Wait one day when I 'fish a gold tortoise' then can afford to live there haha...
sze: lol the spam mails flooded my yahoo acc so dont think i'm logging in there that often now.
love my comforter too!! it's made of down (geese ka lah tai mou hahaha) really warm to sleep in during winter time. but it's too thick for me right now given it's summer and we've got no air con / fan lol.
one reason why we're so keen on renewing the contract is cos the unit is contemporary - hard to find in london (at least for the price we're paying haha). not very fond of old ancient buildings already... There's a canal beside the apartment, leads to River Thames, if i swim far enough haha.
A comfortable to live in ..... vry cosy bedroom ... vry tidy apartment.. did u tidy it up before u took the pictures? hahaha just kidding! =)
Agree with JC apt in KL not so nice
